Toy Week: Micro Machines

Micro Machines were a line of toys originally made by Galoob (now part of Hasbro) from the 1980s to the 1990s. Power Ranger-themed Micro Machines were made in 1994. Before it was purchased by Hasbro in 1998 for $220 million, Galoob was the third largest toymaker in the United States. Fans have wanted me to bring this up, I have wanted to avoid it because I never owned any.

The Red Ranger set came with Jason, Red Ranger, Battle Bike and Tyrannosaurus Zord.

The Black Ranger set came with Black Ranger, Zack, Battle Bike and Mastodon zord.

Blue Ranger set came with Blue Ranger, Billy, Triceratops, and Battle Bike.

Yellow Ranger set came with Trini, Yellow Ranger, Sabertooth Tiger Dinozord, and Black Battle Bike.

Pink Ranger set came with Kimberly, Pink Ranger, Pterodactyl Dinozord and Blue Battlebike.

Power Rangers Micro Machines #1 Titanus vs. King Sphinx came with Red Ranger and Putty.

Power Rangers Micro Machines #2 Dragonzord vs. Goldar also came with Putty and Blue Ranger.

Power Rangers Micro Machines #3 Megazord Vs Squatt came with Power Sword, Black Ranger and Putty.

Mega Battle Collector's Set came with all Five Rangers, two Putties, Alpha, Goldar, Squatt, King Sphinx, Titanus, Dragonzord, and off-color Megazord.

Close-up of the off-color Megazord.

Power Rangers Micro Machines #4 Red Dragonzord vs. Lord Zedd came with Z staff, the Red Dragonzord's battle staff, Red Ranger and Z-Putty.

The Dinozord Power Collector's Set included all give Rangers, including Green Ranger (that didn't come in any other set) and the five Dinozords.
The Battle Bike Collector's Set came with the three Battle Bikes, five Rangers and White Ranger (for some reason with the Pink Ranger's feminine pose and the Pink Ranger has a more manly pose). This White Ranger figure only came in this set.

UPDATED
Apparently Thunderzords were made. Here we got the Dino Zords in black and the four Thunderzords of the Assault Team, without Red Dragon Thunderzord. I wish I could find the package.
