Dice-O Gokai Red Gold Mode

UPDATED 9/25/11
There will be four Dice-O cards of the Gokai Blue, Gokai Greem, Gokai Yellow and Gokai Pink wearing the Gold Mode armor. Thanks to Mr. yellow of Rangerboard for the pic.

This is old news, about Gokai Red Gold Mode, where Gokai Red wears the Gold Mode in Dice-O game. I didn't think it was worth mentioning before and a fan had e-mailed me telling me about it. They asked me if it would be on the show, I doubt it but that stuff can happen. But for now, there is just two cards on Dice-O. So far there has been no live-action shot of him in the armor. The armor has the sixth rangers on it, no changes to it. Now I bring it up because i didn't know they made an Armed Tyrannoranger card. Probably since Tyrannoranger got his shield from Dragon Ranger and Gokai Red got his from the sixth ranger is why they made the card. So far, it is the only card I've seen of any Ranger in Gokaiger merchandise in their armored or powered up mode.

I also wanted to point out the Princess Shinken Red card.

Ranger Key Quality

While I was making that fake image of Ranger Keys for Happy Meal, I noticed some difference in the Hurricane Blue Key and then in other Keys as well. On the Hurricanger episodes of Gokaiger, the legs and arms of the Hurricanger keys are one solid color. Hurricane Blue has no skirt. But I remember in a magazine scan early on when Gokaiger started....

The keys above and other ones are much more detailed. If you notice, the Hurricane keys have grey arms and Hurricane Blue has skirt and legs. AbareBlue has triangles everywhere. PteraRanger has diamonds on her cuffs. GingaGreen has the bite marks on his cuffs.

In the Gaspon Series 6, the Hurricanger have colored arms and legs, no grey. The Magiranger girls have no white legs!

These are official keys in Super-Sentai.net that look just like the ones used on the show.

Gingaman cuffs have no bite marks.

Zyuranger cuffs have no diamonds (teeth).

Megaranger have no colors on the white stripe.

Abaranger keys have no triangles. hese are official keys in Super-Sentai.net.

These are the keys I use for Rangercentral.com (Super Sentai section), and these are from TV-Asahi, they look just like the ones from super-sentai.net, lack detail, compared to the Magazine ones.
So where those detailed keys only made for the magazine and not for the show?

Gao White Gasphon key and the key teeth from GaoWhite key in Episode 3 of Gokaiger. As you can see the Gasphon key has a circle and half circle on bottom and top has teeth near the figure and one long one near the end. The show has one circle and two little teeth and one long tooth on the other side. They may have default key teeth, because I can't figure they made the 199 keys before the show and settled on designs.

AND....

This is the difference between deluxe, candy toy and Gashapon keys. The above picture is not mine, found it online.

Super Sentai: Villainesses in Costumes and Monster Forms

UPDATED 7/1/11 7:30 PM EST
Since I covered males in non-rubber suits and last year I covered all villainesses, by request here are villainesses in non-rubber suits and other forms. I am not counting the cats from Flashman because you can see their human faces, I'm talking about covered rubber (latex or whatever) costumes, meaning most of the time they were done by stuntmen.

Bella and Beth (Goggle Five)
Faceless warriors for Deathmark in purple and blue tights who assume human forms.

Dr. Mazenda
Dr. Mazenda from Liveman (same actress as Gara from Dairanger) had a non-human form as well at the end of the series. I couldn't find a pic.

Princess Jarmin (Turboranger)
She had a snake form but couldnt find a pic.

Empress Juuza (Jetman)
She had a monster form at the end of Jetman.

Lami Scorpion (Zyuranger)
Lami's giant scorpion form, the actress admitted in an interview years later that this made her embarrassed (in a good way?) that she became a monster.

Gara (Dairanger)
She had a metal face form, does that count?

Empress Hysteria
Hysteria was the most devoted and loyal wife and mother. She helped her son Buldont get a new form. She risked her life for her grandson. She is the first Sentai villainess to not have a human face but to be in a costume completely.

Princess Multiwa
Niece of Hysteria and wife of Kaiser Buldont. She had a son by the end of Ohranger.

Keris
Field commander who rules Machine Beasts with whip and had a human disguise. Didn't appear in Zeo but part of her costume was used for another background monster.

Iriesu
She is an Egyptian-themed, spiteful, and ambitious sorceress. She arranged Budou's death, having grown too impatient to wait for her turn against the Gingaman and to revive Daitanikusu. Having succeeded, in becoming the new general, she intended to revive Daitanix through sorcery. She had a more powered-up form too.

Grandiene
In GoGoV, she was the queen mother of the demons, was the final villain and defeated. She is the third Sentai villainess to not have a human face but to be in a costume.

Armored TsueTsue/Onihime (Gaoranger)
When Ura was seemingly dead, Tsuetsue temporarily used his crown to become the Onihime and is possessed by him.

Rije/Rijewel
Little girl, really was Kasumi, Asuka and Mahoro's daughter, that was used as a conduit for the main boss. She later speed-grown into Rijewel, who tried to use her sexy feminine wilds for her crush over Mikoto. Rijewel became a costumed monster (DezumoRijewel) for one episode.

Vancuria
Vampire Queen, sole female of the bad guys in Magiranger. She flirted with Buranken and Wolzard. A man played her in costume. She is the 3rd villainess to switch back and forth to human face to costume and not become a fully-costumed monster at the end.

Sphinx (Magiranger)
After N. Ma's defeat, Sphinx became the new ruling leader of the new Infershia, ending the war between her kind and Magitopia peacefully, and she began rebuilding the Kedomono Realm.

Kazu no Shizuka
She was a ninja treasure hunter. She became a fully-costume super monster at one point for a short time.

Mele
She was the first villainess to have a mecha. She had an exclusive Girls in Uniform figure, only available to a few. She died with her love Rio. She is the fourth villainess to switch back and forth to human face to costume and not become a fully-costumed monster at the end.

Rageku from Gekiranger
Rageku is the Grand Mistress of the Confrontation Beast Jelly-Fist, whose fighting style focuses on pain and suffering. She can deflect their attacks and mastered to use her opponent's Ki against them. Much like Kata, Rageku uses her students and makes them suffer. She is more dedicated to jealously and betrayal. She also had a relationship with Master Shafu long ago.

Dayu
Complicated villainess from Shinkenger, was once human. She is the fourth Sentai villainess to not have a human face but to be completely in costume, eleven years since GoGoV's Grandinne (Vancuria and Mele had human forms). A man played her in costume, the same man who did Vancuria.

Metal Alice of Agent
In Goseiger, a villainess that came in late. She is part of the third group the Matrintis. She is the fifth Sentai villainess to not have a human face but to be in a costume. A man plays her in costume, same man who did BoukenPink.

Insarn
Development Technical Officer Insarn is Zangyack's green-skin mad scientist, supplying the Action Commanders with powerful weapons and modifications. Using a special energy gun, she can resurrect an Action Commander who were defeated and make them grow giant. The same man who did Vancuria and Dayu plays her.

How the Sixth Rangers related to the other Super Sentai

UPDATED 6/13/11 11:36 AM EST
I was asked before to compare how the Sixth Rangers got along with the main team and if they were accepted or not.

Burai and the Zyuranger
I'm not going through the whole complicated story but let's just say Burai was furious and wanted to kill his kid brother Geki and didn't want to join the team. He eventually would help him from time to time. When he died, he passed his tools to Geki.
Evil, don't join team instantly: 1

Kou and Dairanger
Kou as himself was considered a pest to Lin, but the others accepted him. They didn't know he was Kibaranger, he hid his voice and identity. They sort of accepted Kibaranger, he just came when they needed him and he was mysterious. He didn't appear in a lot of episodes either. When they did find out Kou was Kibaranger, they found it strange. They protected him because he was a kid and weren't comfortable with him fighting since he was just a kid, much to his chagrin. By the final episodes, they did accept him as part of the team.
Mysterious Helper: 1

Riki and Ohranger
He was from an ancient civilization, even though some people call him a 'kid ranger,' he was a teenager, in fact he looked like one but was much older. I didn't see his episodes so I don't know how they accepted him or how it went.
Joined team instantly/eventually: 1

Yuusaku and the Megaranger
They instantly accepted him as he was the older guy (superior) and he didn't appear a lot. He appeared when they needed him.
Joined team instantly/eventually: 2

Naoto and the Timeranger
Antagonistic towards the Timeranger, he wasn't an evil ranger but he didn't want to join the Timeranger. He was looking out for himself. Well, if the four Timerangers joined the City guardians, he would've be okay with being their leader then. Even though Tatsuya liked him, he didn't, until the end where he died.
Antagonistically, didn't want to join: 1

Shirogane and the Gaoranger
He was part of the original Gaoranger and was cursed to be Loki. When the current Gaoranger saved him, he became GaoSilver but felt bad about all he did so he didn't want to join the team. He was always the 'lone wolf.'
Lone wolf: 1

Goraijer and the Hurricanger
Even though they aren't sixth rangers, they wouldn't want to be part of the Hurricanger and never were. They had pride in their school and were trained since their little by their psychotic father, who wanted them to be the best ninja, even brother to kill brother. They looked down towards the Hurricanger.
Antagonistically, didn't want to join: 2

Shurikenger and the Hurricanger and Goraijer
He comes in and saves the day, he is mysterious and doesn't stay for long. His secret identity swapping gets on their nerves. The Hurricanger like him and the Goraijer don't really hate him, they don't get him but soon like him. He wishes he could hang with them but really can't (because of his responsibility of protecting Gozen and that he's not human anymore). He was the last 'hero' Sixth Ranger to die.
Mysterious helper: 2

AbareKiller and the Abaranger
Even though there was just four Abaranger and AbareMax is not counted as a sixth ranger but an upgrade, AbareKiller is consider a Sixth Ranger by Gokaiger. He was antagonistic towards them for years. He was the leader of the Evorian for a while. He didn't really join them until the very end. He could be considered an 'evil ranger' or even a villain. He eventually died.
Evil, don't join team instantly: 2

Tetsu and Dekaranger
Tetsu is initially cold and dismissive of the Dekaranger, causing Ban to be angry towards him. So him himself didn't want to socialize with them. He was taught to be this way by DekaBright, who later comes and scolds him for getting close to the Dekaranger. Even though DekaMaster came sixth, DekaBreak was advertised as sixth and he had the roman number six: VI on his suit and was treated as sixth ranger.
Antagonistically, didn't want to join: 3

Hikaru and Magiranger
Sungel is his name but Houka calls him 'Hikaru.' Urara kisses a frog and it becomes him. He makes a remark about her liking him and when she wants to slap him, she ends up slapping Makito. In the next episode, Makito is a bit jealous and upset at Hikaru but later turns around. Kai butts heads with Hikaru occasionally (even to the point that Snowgel downgraded Hikaru and had him follow Kai.
Joined team instantly but some head butts: 1

Eiji and Boukenger
Eiji is after the Ashu and Akashi likes him. Eiji tells him Akashi has no room for friends. Akashi tells him he thinks his mission is important. Eiji tells him not to compare them to each other. Akashi wants Eiji to join and sort of tricks him to become Bouken Silver, Eiji is not so sure, but he joins anyway. Natsumi sort of gets him into it. He occasionally comes to SGS and doesn't really follow Mr. Voice. Eiji butted heads with Masumi.
Joined team instantly but some head butts: 2

Gou and the Gekiranger
The others wanted Gou to join, but he was more upset about Retsu breaking his promise and was fighting. He conflicted with Restu and then Jan, who didn't exactly know how he would fit in.

Ken and the Gekiranger
He wanted to be accepted but wasn't for his laziness and arrogance, it took Jan to kind of accept him.

Go-On Wings and the Go-Onger
They thought they were all that and didn't care for the Go-Onger nor they did want to join them. The Go-Onger liked them and wanted them to be friends. The Go-On Wings slowly accepted them but sitll ribbed them and made fun of them.
Antagonistically, didn't want to join: 4

Genta and the Shinkenger
He wanted to join but wasn't accept by the Shinkenger. He was quickly accepted by the Vassals but not much by Takeru, Ryunosuke and Jii. Takeru and Jii later accepted him but it took an episode for Ryunosuke to accept him.
Wasn't accepted instantly: 1

Gosei Knight and Goseiger
The Goseiger likes him and wanted him to join but he didn't, he didn't see the point of saving humanity, he only wanted to protect the Earth and fight the aliens.
Lone Wolf: 2

Gai and the Gokaiger
He introduced himself and the Gokaiger didn't pay attention to him. It doesn't look like they will accept him instantly, seeing he isn't a pirate and he's from Earth. And I am sure there are other reasons.
Wasn't accepted instantly: 2

Joined team instantly/eventually: 2

Antagonistically, didn't want to join: 4
