Some people might not like it, see it as a cheap knock-off of Power Rangers, but in this first episode, it is not obvious but it is a parody of MMPR, the other episodes highlight this. It is now airing on THIS tv. Where I live, it is channel 226 on Comcast South Florida. I can't wait until the October 23rd episode "The Universal Hitchhiker" which features Kevin Castro as Rick/Orion, which makes the team doubt their mentor Nimblar. I do plan to put video of some select episodes after they air but not all of them. I don't want to do all of them because not all are gems.

Beetleborgs Third Season... Or Third Toy Line??
I can't believe I didn't do a post on this or even noticed. I think I saw the pictures once but didn't pay it mind because it looked the same as before. I'm talking about the toy line that came after Beetleborgs Metallix (the second season) which was called Beetleborgs Force. The reason there was no third season despite its popularity was because there was no third series for B-Fighters, they stopped making the series in Toei. Well, there was a sequel of sorts (B-Robo Kabutack) but it was more for smaller kids and wasn't the same so Saban opted not to use it. The two teams did appear in a Christmas special for B-Robo Kabutack but it might had been hard to explain the appearance of Kabutack and the existence of two teams. It is rumored that there was a third season planned without footage but instead Mystic Knights was created (which also was rumored to have a second season called Battle Thunder but the budget was opted to be used for Lost Galaxy).
Some of these pics are from Ranger Central Unlimited, I didn't know these pics existed because my site partner Mike put them up and didn't, I didn't realize the different logo. This toy line came out in the fall of 1998 even though the series stopped new episodes in the Spring of 1998. Reruns did air on UPN from Fall of 1998 to Spring of 1999.
This 'Force' line had both teams, here is just three pictures. So I think the third season wouldn't had been called 'Force.'
These two deluxe figures were based on Jansperson, a Metal Hero from 1993. He was just one hero, and not a team.
Bandai and Plex could had easily designed new suits but I guess Saban didn't think it was worth his trouble and money. The series itself was jam-packed with so much stuff like the Hillhurst monsters and the comic book store and the kids special powers, that they didn't have to do a lot of battle footage. And since they used a lot of Beetleborg monsters for Power Rangers and Mystic Knights, I'm sure they could had reused them again. They could had easily done episodes without battle scenes and concentrated more on the monsters. The road that lead to the Beetlborgs becoming Metallix took five episodes! Plus, the Mega Spectra Sector Cycles and Mega Spectra Armor were American, so they could had kept using those suits and could had brought back the White Blaster Beetleborg. Oh well, I should stop dwelling in the past.

Lord Zedd and Emperor Zurg: Seperated at Birth?
This is probably old news but I recently noticed this as I just got my nephew Toy Story 2 and I hadn't seen it in a while. Even though Emperor Zurg was mentioned in the first movie Toy Story, we didn't see him and he didn't appear until Toy Story 2. Toy Story 2 wasn't released until 1999 and Zurg appeared in the Buzz Lightyear series, which began in 2000. Lord Zedd first showed up in Power Rangers in 1995. So I believe Zurg met had been subconsciously based on Zedd. His mouth looks like an upside-down version of Zedd's mouth and he seems to have the same vision thingy Zedd has. Bandai should had follow suit and had a hole in the back of Zedd's head to see through it in red like on the show. And don't forget the 'Z' on their bodies and headquarters.

Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters to air on This TV starting September 26. Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters was a satire that aired on the USA Network in 1994. THIS TV is a small TV Network that some local channels, their affiliates show it. Like for example those channels that aired the WB, UPN, MyNetworkTV or still show the CW. They can choose to show the channel at any time. I suggest looking at TVGuide.com in September for local listings. For me in Miami, it is cable channel 226 for Comcast/Xifinity users. I liked one of the episodes (the one with the same actor who played Tank in Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad). It was cheap and not the greatest show but it was still funny. It will be airing Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Little Known Fact: Geena Davis was to be in a Disney Live-Action Sailor Moon
Remember the 1999 Disney's Inspector Gadget? Well Inspector Gadget was a cartoon produced by DIC Entertainment in 1983 but Disney bought DiC and had them from 1995 to 2000. In 1997, they reportedly were planning a Live-Action Sailor Moon film. Even though IMDB is not very reliable, more than one website concerning Geena Davis has it that she was cast in the movie and was producing it. I remember back in 1997, reading about that and also e-mails from Geena Davis to fans and letters from fans to her. This was via Save Our Sailors website, which is no longer up but I remember it was for real. She was to play Queen Beryl but it never happened.
Most likely Disney lost interest in a live-action Sailor Moon movie, probably because the show was canceled and legal things with Toei, it just ended up in development hell. And I think it had to do with Inspector Gadget's numbers, because the sequel ended up on DVD and not back on film. I think Geena Davis would had been a good pick. Most likely if a live-action film would ever been made, a new actress would have to be cast, whoever was in charge of the production. I have made a post before on why I think a Live-action film would be a good idea and also on the fabled Saban Moon, which was not even made by Saban but by Toonmakers.
Since Disney let go of Power Rangers and is now working with Marvel, if a Power Rangers film is indeed made by Saban in the future and was a financial success, I would vouch for Saban getting his hands on the Sailor Moon franchise (since Kondasha USA now let the Manga be re-printed in English for the 20th anniversary) and maybe a film in the future. Back in the early 2000's, Toei put a freeze on the Anime airing in the US or any merchandise being made anymore outside of Japan and the 2003 series PGSM was never seen in North America. To be fair, Saban never had his hands on Sailor Moon before at all, never ever, so we can give him the chance to make an adaption, maybe he will get a producer like Jonathan Tzachor, who sticks close to the source and he or someone like him might chose to use the 2003 Toei live-action series as an example.
Also Kristen Dunst was/is a known fan of Sailor Moon. In the late 90's in a teen magazine, they showed Kristen in a bedroom with Sailor Moon stuff, she did expressed being a fan. She was asked during the first Spider-Man movie if she would ever be interested in playing a superheornie but she said she would find it too daunting, with stunts and more than just being protagonist in an action film. Recently in 2009, she was seen in Tokyo dressed like this, did Kristen change her mind?Sources:
