“Power Rangers Samurai” Hits Series High Ratings, “Supah Ninjas” Hits Series Low

"On Saturday, April 30, the move of Power Rangers Samurai to a new day for new episodes caused the series to hit a record high in total viewers: 3.184 million viewers (you can see more ratings from the show here). In fact, Power Rangers Samurai’s noon airing on Saturday was watched by more people than each show airing in primetime that night on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel!

However, on the same day (and in primetime none-the-less), Supah Ninjas hit a series low, after only three weeks, in total viewers: 2.106 million viewers. The show premiered on April 16 to 3.1 million and dropped on April 23 to 2.872 million."

Stephen Lunsford and Felix Ryan in Victorious

I usually do not watch "Victorious" but I was flipping around and found yesterday's episode "A Film my Dale Squires" featured Stephen Lunsford as Dale Squires and Felix Ryan as Damian. Felix Ryan plays Spike on Power Rangers Samurai and has appeared in 3 other episodes as Damian on Victorious. Stephen Lunsford played Kit on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

Power Rangers Samurai On Demand Comcast

For those that don't know Comcast/Xfinity is a cable service in the United States. And there is 'On Demand,' where you can choose programming they have selected so you can catch up with your favorite shows, see movies and exclusive content. Some you have to pay for, similar to Pay-Per-View and some are free. The following is free.

At this time of March 6, the latest episode they have is "Day Off," "Deal with Nighlok" and "The Rangers Unite." "Stick and Stones" and "A Fish Out of Water" are not yet available. I am to guess that next week "Stick and Stones" will be available.

Super Sentai Songs on iTunes! And Samurai Ratings

Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. has announced the release of the “Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger” theme song, set for March 2, 2011, in addition to the start of overseas distribution of the “Super Sentai Theme Song Series,” which comprises six of current total of 35 “Super Sentai Series” theme songs, available exclusively on iTunes beginning March 9th, 2011.

Ratings were up with boys, compared to Disney (Cars Movie) by seven per cent with boys aged two to 11 and by 34 per cent with the boys aged six to 11 category. Perhaps due to its heritage appeal, the launch brought in solid adult audiences too, earning a 0.57 adults 18 to 49 rating and a 0.61 male 18 to 49 rating, which is an increase of eight per cent and 61 per cent year-on-year, respectively.

Blue Samurai Ranger Promo - complete with Mega Ranger upgrade footage

Well just like I told the people who thought Shinkenger was not going to get adapted into Power Rangers (and they said 'That's why Disney dropped out')---these upgrade suits will be used on the show. To be like a 8 year-old, "Told You So!"
