My Crazy Idea for Future Gokaiger McDonalds

In response to the quality of the McDonalds Toys of Power Rangers Samurai, I was thinking of an impossible idea. Impossible because it might not happen because of the quality and the amount of toys. They did recently have 16 Smurf toys. Recently they have toys split into girls and boys, 8 each. If Gokaiger gets adapted into Power Rangers, I don't think this would happen. I thought this would just be fun to do. I did the six Pirates and tried to do one key per team, which was hard. I also tried to make the keys simple as possible. Oh the thing is that they are key chains.

For the Titanium Ranger, I used a fan made key I didn't make. I wanted to use a Gold Ranger from RPM or Samurai, but I already had RPM Silver and female Red Samurai Ranger. Some key grooves are the real ones from the Deluxe or Gasphon Keys, some I reused from another one, so they aren't all accurate. Some I just pasted the logo on a key I changed the color to. For example, the Pink MMPR key, I used Miss America's Key.


Here are the ones I wanted to use but traded for other colors.


I just had fun doing this! Someone else made the logo, I did not.

Sharing Our Numbers

I thought I would share a bit of stats that Blogger.com has collected about my blog Henshin Grid like which countries visit the blog the most (Obviously the USA) but also mostly Asian countries and no surprise Brazil is included as Toku has aired in Brazil. Also browsers like Firefox, which I use too. Blogger changed their editing format so I am still having trouble fixing the tables, so that is why it is all out of whack.

Bandai America correspondence "Back in the Day"

I was doing some summer cleaning and found this old letter. I used to send a lot of letters to Bandai America and recieve many back. I thought they were all gone. I remember one where I asked about who was the White Ranger (this was before "White Light" aired but the toys were already out in June) and they told me that was up to the show and not them. I don't remember what I wrote to them to get the letter below but I thought you guys would enjoy what they had to say. I hope I find more.

No News

Sorry there has been a lull on the blog, I know how it feels to look at a blog every day and then find nothing. I've been quite busy, I got sick last week and for the past month I have been painting the walls of my room and fixing the ceiling, half of my stuff has been in boxes. In fact, all my Power Rangers stuff is in boxes. Plus, Aug 7 was my birthday and I had a big party. Anyway, only one person asked if there had been any news about Super Sentai 2012, but I've searched and searched and nothing so far. On July 30, 2010, Toei applied for trademarks on the title Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger to be used on various products. The Japan Patent Office approved these trademarks on August 26, 2010.



And they did it around the same time for Goseiger, so I'm guessing we might hear the name by the end of August. But we usually get rumors around this time, but there is no real set schedule. But since 2000, the sentai rumors have gotten sooner and sooner. I think most likely the reason there is a lull is because of Gokaiger. Why because of Gokaiger? Gokaiger has so many guest stars of past years and rumors are rampant and what will happen in the next 25 episodes are a secret, and more movies than usual (199 Heroes and summer movie instead of just the summer movie). Maybe that holds up any rumors of a new series. Also, Toei could be keeping it a tight secret.

The History of the Ranger Central Site

Every so often explain how I came to work on Ranger Central and how it exists. It is one site, along with Rangerboard, Rovang's Writer's Guide to the Power Rangers Universe and Grnrngr.com that has lasted so long. I, Lavender Ranger, found out about Sentai in 1997 (thanks to Ranger Central) and made my own webpage in 1999 initially called Super Sentai/Power Rangers Fansite. Ray, 'ZyuRay' on Rangerboard, created Power Rangers Central (www.rangercentral.com) around 1996 or 1997, I'm not sure, I've never e-mailed or chatted with him. So how did I come to be co-webmaster if I never had contact with him?

Above logo I made back in 2000 when I renamed my site 'Sentai Time Capsule' and decided to cover stuff before Zyuranger, since my site was just stuff from Zyuranger to Timeranger (remember, this was 2000). In 2002, I decided to quit and gave the site to a friend online Mike Bastian. We eventually became site partners, he was more organized than I and handled the code. So from then on, like now, I covered the writing, web site image grabbing, and facts and he covered codes, images and scanning and editing. We expanded the site to be like Rangercental andcover all Super Sentai seasons. I know my grammar is not great, some stuff is from other sites and wikipedia, I did change around the words and rarranged with theasuras. And there are some pages that aren't fleshed out because I haven't seen the show. We have looked for help for a long time.

Around Dino Thunder or SPD, Ray gave his site away to Mike, just to archive. Mike did want to archive but I wanted to expand. We got Poweranimals to help as well. I didn't really did things for PRC until 2007, I mostly covered Supersentai.com/Sentai Time Capsule. I basically wrote the episode guides for Operation Overdrive and RPM, and translated the whole PRC site in Spanish. Mike expanded into Toku Cental and Kamen Rider Legacy sites about two years ago and I helped write for that stuff (mostly wikipedia I know). Anyway that's how I got involved with PRC. So now Mike merged all the sites together into PRCU in order to make things easier and we can treat the whole site as one. And yes, many have complained about the name--- that Kamen Rider is not Power Rangers and all the other Toku. But we are just using it as an umbrella term.

Calling out Wikipedia Writers for sites

In late August, I will be a full time teacher and unable to work on the blog and sites, we need writers. I am calling out the Wikipedia writers, who write for Power Rangers Samurai, Gokaiger Wikipedia pages and Morphin Grid Wiki pages. We need writers to write for the database of Power Rangers Central, for example the descriptions for weapons, villains, zords, allies, etc. And also for Super Sentai.com. I already got Blog helpers Henshin0 and Pat. Check my blogger profile and e-mail me and tell me if you are interested. You must have free time and watched episodes and have good grammar.

Toy Week 2: My Collection Part 1

In honor of Toy Week 2, I decided to show a bit of my Power Ranger collection, I got some Super Sentai and Kamen Rider stuff. This is half of the collection, I got some more I might show later. I might be missing some bit and pieces that are in storage. Most of these are pretty dusty. I miswrote Gun mode as Sword Mode on the subtitle.

OCD and Super Sentai/Power Rangers

I mean no offense by this. I notice that some fans have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, including myself. I think it does explain a lot. Many fans obsess about the names of things, small details of Power Ranger history, if things are canon or not, and so on. I like colors, I am obsess with colors and event with Ranger Key posts, I get kind of overzealous and get excited over the simplistic thing. But Wikipedia says Obsessive–compulsive disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by intrusive thoughts that produce uneasiness, apprehension, fear, or worry, by repetitive behaviors aimed at reducing anxiety, or by a combination of such thoughts and behaviors. So is not exactly exact to that. Maybe we do get a bit anxious and uneasy and makes us want everything to be in order.

Anyways, I'm a new co-composer (more like sub-composer) appointed by Lavender Ranger to help out with the web site. Your probably wondering, "what did that last sentence mean? it sounds weird." Well, basically, I have the ability to write posts, but Lavender is still the sole in charge of the whole site. I am 'GekiViolet' on Rangerboard (mainly because I can't change my name right now) and I'd appreciate it if no one makes a thread on that forum about my blog. Please leave it to me to bring it up or not. I bring it this up because nintenfan3424 brought up this topic I just found this on Henshin Grid on Rangerboard and rangerspain have posted Henshin Grid Pic, and it's cool you guys like my blog and all, but I appreciate it if you leave the questions on my blog and don't make a big open thing on the Rangerboard. I apologize for sounding mean but I rather leave the advertising of my sites to myself please. Also, I like bringing things up on my own on Rangerboard and not other people doing it.

I also like to point out that other fans that read my blog leave comments and ask me about something or bring a topic up and it's all good, so please refrain from posting stuff like 'I found this on Henshin Grid' or 'Henshin Grid had this,' etc or anything of that nature. And why I am so worked up about this? Because it's kind of embarrassing, I rather leave my ramblings to myself. Because on that thread I first mention, some person already wrote that my site is inaccurate (Oh my god, can't people read that I wrote: Information on this blog is NOT 100% accurate because of human error, it is unintentional to be incorrect.). I know I might have colored some items wrong. I tried touching it up with the computer. If you think the coloring is bad, you should have seen it before, much improved. All of these except for Aka Red and Ninjaman are confirmed to appear in the Gokaiger movie. And I also realize I lost Mele’s left arm and Wolzard’s right arm. Lots of the posing were inspired by Rangerstrike card illustrations and coloring book pages. Mele and Rio were from Gekiranger coloring book; Magna Defender from Lost Galaxy coloring book; DekaSwan, DekaMaster, Wolzard, MagiMother, and AkaRed were from Rangerstrike cards; poses for Ninjaman, Signalman, Shinken Red, and Zuuban were inspired by real pictures.

Can you guess the Ranger? #4

I am getting over chest congestion and sinus flu so this is all I can do right now. Guess which Ranger the picture it is. None of the Gokaiger are included and no Gokaiger pictures are used, because to avoid confusion. These are from Goranger to Goseiger. I might have repeated a team (sometimes twice) and even the same Ranger. I'll try this again next weekend.
