Fourze Leaked Trailer+Toku in Israel+Predictions for Fourze

Hey guys, henshin0 here saying "ORE SANJOU!!!". Anyways, I'm sure I shouldn't talk about my personal life on this blog, but Israel was fantastic, especially when I tell you a few toku-lated things I found about it. Power Rangers Samurai is pretty popular there....really popular. One day, I was channel surfing in a hotel in Jeruselem, and find PRS dubbed and subbed in Hebrew. When you spend a year hanging out with Paul Shrier, watching his band perform, listening to his anecdotes about riding a motorcycle with Narvy, and other real-life crazy adventures of Paul and Jason, it is kinda surprising to see your friend lecturing Felix Ryan the ways of the samurai in Hebrew. I'd prove it with a photo or video, but my phone was dead (sorry guys). But what really interested me is Power Rangers and (wait for it) Kamen Rider are both popular there, but ironically, no one has ever heard of Super Sentai. The Israeli soldiers I hung out with were all fans of Blade, Kabuto, OOO, and Den-O, and much like me, hated the the first five minutes of 2010 Movie War.

That isn't the only thing that caught my toku-related attention. In addition to finding venders with bootleg copies of 7-Fighting Demons dubbed in Hebrew, but I constantly find the below poster all over Tela Aviv. Note, it is just a flyer for a sticker promo, but what an interesting cross-over it would make:

Being back, I just had to check out jetfusion to catch up on gokai-ooo, where I stumbled upon a video leaked from a press conference. The video includes a press-battle between Fourze and the red-monster-guy, followed by a video of the extended trailer of the show. The trailer shows Fourze holding and using four switches in human and rider forms respectively, the cliques, and some other stuff. Anyways, I'm sure you're bored now with my anecdote, and want to get on to the trailer, so here it is:

What else I found on JF is confirmation of 4's (my abridged name for fourze) to cameo in the OOO movie, and for there to be a 2012 cross-film. So here is my prediction of what's to come based on patterns from the last two years (take with a grain of salt):

>Before fighting the main villain in OOO movie, OOO will face a lesser movie villain, but will be interrupted by a brief arrival of 4's, who will also defeat that lesser villain.

>Given the previous titles given to year-end team ups (war and core), the movie will likely be called 2012 Soar (because it rhymes with the above and it's appropriate for 4's motif.

>The OOO side will feature a new combo and/or new form for birth and/or new rider (most likely options 1 and 3)

>The 4's side will feature a mid form (like fang-joker and tajadol)

>Either during the 4's side or in the Soar-cross, the second rider will be revealed (like accel and birth)

>Next spring, there might be another den-o film that may include 4's (and if it does, it might take place in space)

---Again, these are just predictions based on patterns from the last two years, so don't take them seriously, regardless of how ironic it would be if I was completely correct with them. But seriously, the chances are astronomical, so don't.

Kamen Rider Fourze: News Bulletin

Hey guys, as you might know (or didn't but now will), Kamen Rider OOO is only a few episodes away from a conclusion, and as early as a few weeks ago, the next season of Kamen Rider has been revealed in the form of Kamen Rider Fourze. Some pictures have already seen of the rider, actor, cast, rocket switch, and two villains. Now, about over a week ago, there was a news report on tv about the series. The report features the "pre-transformed" henshin sequence (the part where the rider does a pose and/or does something on the belt/device), fourze's bike, the cast, a news paper with the cast, a one-second fight scene, and a few words from the lead actor. Sadly, I don't know Japanese, so this is all the advanced info I can give.

Frankly, the latter three results were unexpected to me. No offense if my following opinions about the results are...well offensive against your votes. Well, both Skull posts are different from what I expected, although is having him appear in samurai for one or two episodes better than a whole season? But what I find interesting is how much you want Justin to be Gosei Red more than Gokai Red. Honestly, getting him to be the prior would be harder to write than the latter. But what is even more interesting, is that you want him to not appear at all, rather than be gokaired.

It just so happens that Blake, Jason and I, are working on a peliminary script to propose to saban. We are formulating it carefully to get around all the Cons of adapting the season, particularly canon and having footage with the 34 teams. It started with having Blake be the red ranger (which is the jumping off point in the brain-storm).

While trying to work on a general idea of what the main cast would be like, and thought not only should Skull come back, but also mix things up by having him be a ranger, because not only is green perfect for his character, but also Skull kinda deserved it.

We didn't have anything in mind for Cyberon (Barizorg), but after watching a parody video made by Jason Chan, I thought it would be cool if he came back, only to find that it was a perfect saban-esque idea to have cyber-cam be the adaptation for Sid (barizorg's human form). needless to say, he accepted.

What however was in our original brainstorm, is have an actor/actress of an old-school villain to come back as a new villain. It was obvious we were all thinking of Goodson as Insarn. After some time waiting for an answer, we are proud to say that as of thursday, we got our actress for Insarn.
We are still in a "fan-fic" phase, but are actually making some progress, and are confident it would pull through. I thank you for your moral support, but please don't send tag requests on face book, because we are not look for audition canditates until after the proposal.

lastly, in case if there's no free wifi in Israel, I would like to give props to Lavender Ranger for the awesome patriotic banner....

Henshin0's feelings over PR streaming on Netflix

When I read the article about Netflix streaming this "tomorrow" (today by now), you couldn't believe my ecstasy. This is one time where being an insomniac is a good thing, because lying on your bed, you start to realize, "Wait, it's midnight.....POWER RANGERS ARE STREAMING ON NETFLIX NOW!" And I got a first look, and it rocked my world. First of all, the graphics of older footage has slightly improved (the way you think MMPR revisioned would have, before you actually saw it), and at the end of the episodes of all of the shows, even the Disney seasons, they use the new Saban logo, like the one they use at the end of "Samurai". Since I didn't sleep at night, I spent the whole night watching "Zeo", and thanks to the digital remastery, I noticed things I didn't notice before even when they aired it on Jetix.

First, in the zord garage, you can see the initials "U.A.O.H." from Zeo's Japanese counter-part, "Ohranger". Also, in the power chamber, where they have capsules containing the MMPR suits, Yellow ranger's suit (are you ready for this) has a skirt. What ironic timing to notice it, when gokaiger is airing in Japan. I also noticed a few less impressive things like the rangers wearing turtle-necks......a lot, and subtext about David Yost, but that's not important. Who knows what other things I will just start to notice in other old season, but whats really cool, is the fact that it's on netfix, means that via desktop, laptop, TV internet, and iPhone, I can literally spend the whole day watching non-stop Power Rangers. Although, there are a few things you should know. First, they're not streaming Mystic Knights, or Masked rider, and second, MMPR-R is considered S-19 on Netflix, not S-18, while "Samurai" is considered 18, but isn't on netflix at all, even though the cast list is on the site.

Power Morpher iPhone App

After the Post about the Power Rangers Samurai game on the iPhone, I just had to check it out on the app store. Sadly, the game was $1.99, a few cents over my balance. But on the search menu, I did find an app I could get for $0.99. There are some arguements on whether or not it is concidered a toy, but a certain celebrity (keep reading to find out who) I met last weekend called it a toy, so I might as well post up for toy week, even though I would have posted it otherwise anyway. It is a morpher app on the iPhone, where you can make a morpher from the show, or a customized one just for fun. Here are some examples from the show.....IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!

Here's how you make your custom morpher:

First you pick one of sixteen background lightning colors (left-right; top-bottom): red, blue, yellow, black, pink, green, orange, grey, gold, slightly-light blue, slightly-dark green, white, brown, slightly-dark blue, purple, and reptile green.

Next, you pick one of eighteen power coins (left-right; top-bottom): kitten photo, t-rex skull, tyranasaurus, mastadon, pteradachtyle, triceratops, saber-toothed tiger, dragon zord symbol, white tiger zord symbol, bear, falcon, frog, wolf, ape, crane, photo/cam 1, photo/cam 2, and photo/cam 3.

Then, you pick one of three morpher cases: silver, gold, and steel (I guess)

Power Rangers Samurai - Team Spirit - Review

Due to personal scheduling conflicts and lines constantly skipping, my review might seem badly done, so I apologize for that in advanced, but please bare with me on this.

Synopsis:

The episode starts off with Emily looking around for the other rangers who seem to be missing. The actuality is that they are sneaking around the Shiba house trying to set up a surprise birthday for her. Mia offers to bake one, but the guys quickly shout "NO!" and save by telling her that "you don't wanna risk it" and Antonio already ordered one from the bakery.
Meanwhile, Octoro warns Dayu about hanging out with Deker while constantly annoying us, the audience with his catch-phrase "ooo-a-ooo". They notice the Sanzu is rising, and the monster, Split-face volunteers to make it go higher.

Elsewhere, Antonio tries to catch a big bass for Emily, and on the way back, he crosses paths with Deker. He mistakes Deker for a shisherman. After being corrected, he offers him lunch and to try his new "baby barracuda" recipe.

Split-face steals peoples' spirits, and splits his body apart and over-powers the rangers and steals Em's spirit. He tells the rangers that the souls will be permanently his in 24-hrs, up to which time, he'll stay in the sanzu river, where no mortal can enter.

While the victims+Emily are in a coma, Antonio tries to use the "Live" symbol to bring clawzord to life. The Sanzu rises higher, while the team tries to figure out how to get the monster to come out. Deker appears, and tells the rangers that a mortal can pass into the sanzu by becoming a Niglock, reveiling that Deker did that once, though he has no memory of it. Antonio tells the rangers to use their sybol powers on clawzord. After putting enough symbol power, the clawzord grows to full size, and Split-face is forced out into the human world. As it turns out, in the earlier battle, Antonio marked one of S-F's parts with a program symbol that not only draws him to the clawzord, but also prevents him from seperating, alowing the rangers to defeat his first life. Sadly, they can't use the megazord to fight the second life without Emily. Antonio then summons clawzord and overpowers S-F until he summons giant moogers. Antonio transforms his zord into claw battlezord east and fight some of them off. then he use west and west fan to protect himself, while the lads summon battlewing to fight off the flying moogers so that he can use south and south katanas to fight S-F and finish him with east claws.
Emily and all of the other victims revived, and celebrated her birthday (with the relief of Mia being "busy" while eating the bakery cake.while the octozord WASN'T stolen by a passerby.

REVIEW:

The episode was pretty nostalogic to episode 20 of shinkenger. It does however, feels weird that Antonio and Deker meet so early on in the translation, but it was just as amusing as Genta and Juzo. I'm not surprised that not only was Emily not in a complete coma, but also in the fact that her sister, Cerina is still alive, because PR always had a history of not killing dead people (save RPM). It was cool how Claw Battlezord uses a compass system, just like Ebi origami. There are particularly two things I didn't like about the episode. One, they didn't have Bulk and Spike again; there are so many ways they could have been in the episode, but weren't. The other is that they didn't have Diend kidnap octozord. In the original episode of Shinkenger, Genta walks out and finds Daiki stealing ikagami calling himself "the passerby kamen rider", leading to the interlude of the crossover of Decade teaming up with shinkengers. Saban bought the footage to the episodes, so why not go with it. I also wonder when they will air the skipped episodes. they did infact film shinkenger episode 1. The commercials on nicktoons even has a brief clip the monster saying Octoroo was hit by an "ugly-stick". Speaking of which, why are Octoroo and Octozord called as such, if they are both squids?

"KAMEN RIDER OOO: CREATE YOUR OWN COMBO CONTEST" important notice.

There are two important things that have come to my attention lately:

First of all, it's Wednesday, and that meens that you only have 10 days left to submit your entry. I suggest you start drawing if you haven't started doing so already; which brings me to the second thing.

A deviant art user sent me an entry by e-mail because he can't figure out a way to send it to me via D.A. With some checking, I see his/her point. So here is my solution.

at the front page of my (and other peoples) diviantart account, there should be a section on the right side where other users can write comments on my front page. if you have your entry already deviated, then send me a link for it on my Wall (you might need to add me to diviant watch). If this doesn't work, then just send it via e-mail. Submission description details still apply the same way.

Kamen Rider OOO: Create Your Own Combo Contest!

Hey guys, henshin0 here with my first official post, in no better day than my birthday. Since I'm a new writter here, I want to get to know the frequent visitors a bit better; and what better way than an art contest. With a new and highly anticipated combo to appear next week, and at least two more on the way, people will be inspired to make loads of fan art, so why not show off yours! make your own ooo combo and send it here. here's what you do.

Via any visual medium (i.e. pencil, paint, crayon, ms paint, etc) draw a picture OOO using your combo, with the three core medals used to make it. I'm not expecting profesional Bottacelli style drawing, but don't make a simple stick puppet, for this is a test of creativity, and therefore requires clear detail of the medals and the circle on his chest. further more, in the description of your submission should include combo name, color scheme, animal theme, each medal used, their abilities, name for a greeed who would "want them back", and a title for a song for this form (i.e. Gatakiriba--"gotta keep it real").

Anyways, I'm a new co-composer (more like sub-composer) appointed by Lavender Ranger to help out with the web site. Your probably wondering, "what did that last sentence mean? it sounds weird." Well, basically, I have the ability to write posts, but Lavender is still the sole in charge of the whole site. I just want to let you know this, so you don't get confused by the fact that some posts would seem different than others.
