Henshin0's feelings over PR streaming on Netflix

When I read the article about Netflix streaming this "tomorrow" (today by now), you couldn't believe my ecstasy. This is one time where being an insomniac is a good thing, because lying on your bed, you start to realize, "Wait, it's midnight.....POWER RANGERS ARE STREAMING ON NETFLIX NOW!" And I got a first look, and it rocked my world. First of all, the graphics of older footage has slightly improved (the way you think MMPR revisioned would have, before you actually saw it), and at the end of the episodes of all of the shows, even the Disney seasons, they use the new Saban logo, like the one they use at the end of "Samurai". Since I didn't sleep at night, I spent the whole night watching "Zeo", and thanks to the digital remastery, I noticed things I didn't notice before even when they aired it on Jetix.

First, in the zord garage, you can see the initials "U.A.O.H." from Zeo's Japanese counter-part, "Ohranger". Also, in the power chamber, where they have capsules containing the MMPR suits, Yellow ranger's suit (are you ready for this) has a skirt. What ironic timing to notice it, when gokaiger is airing in Japan. I also noticed a few less impressive things like the rangers wearing turtle-necks......a lot, and subtext about David Yost, but that's not important. Who knows what other things I will just start to notice in other old season, but whats really cool, is the fact that it's on netfix, means that via desktop, laptop, TV internet, and iPhone, I can literally spend the whole day watching non-stop Power Rangers. Although, there are a few things you should know. First, they're not streaming Mystic Knights, or Masked rider, and second, MMPR-R is considered S-19 on Netflix, not S-18, while "Samurai" is considered 18, but isn't on netflix at all, even though the cast list is on the site.

THANK YOU SABAN FOR POTENTIALLY MAKING ME COMPLETELY ANTI-SOCIAL BY HAVING ME RELIVE MY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES ABOUT OVERGROWN TEENAGERS IN SPANDEX.......and body armor......and whatever Dr. K. said her RPM suits were made of.

Top 10 Worst Power Rangers Toys

The following are my own opinions, I am sure there are plenty other toys that you guys think are the worst or bad. I hate re-paints, some re-paints are the worst too, but I decided not to include any re-paints. I have to admit, the majority of these are things that didn't appear on the show, but there are actually some things that were not on the show that looked pretty cool.

10. Solar Morpher
In Gekiranger, they used what became the Tiger Battle Claws in Jungle Fury---to transform. Many fans complained about these eyeglasses. They are pretty lame. What kind of toy is this for kids? This was chosen for bad playability and quality.

9. Claw Cannon
Appeared on the show but this looks nothing like the real one, just looks horrible. This was chosen for bad design, playability and quality.

8. Torque Force Power Rangers
A pre-cursor to the Spirit Rangers, they based these figures on the Auxiliary zords, they should have just made them full rangers, not have these veins and silly 'hats.' This was chosen for poor choice of design.

7. A Tie!! Mighty Dragon Mobile
This is a family blog and I don't curse, and I'm not going to say what this looks like. It is just tacky looking. This was chosen for poor choice in design.
7. Original Lord Zedd figure
Since when was Lord Zedd fat? Well, this was the original toy, he was bulky in all his incarnations for the first few years until they made the Super Legends figure in 2008. This was chosen for poor choice in construction.

6. Galatic Speeders
pretty dull and boring entry from PRLG, didn't appear on the show. This was chosen for bad playability and design.

5. Hovertek Cycles
In PROO, they decided to make figures that were mixed two colors, it just didn't look right. It is so mis-matched. This was choice for bad choice of color.

4. A Tie! MMPR 2010 Digital Clock Rangers and 'Panty Rangers'
I don't think these toys were released everywhere, but they just look horrible, ooh and the 'Panty Rangers.' These two were chosen for poor conception, design and execution.

3. MMPR 2010 Action Rangers
Ugly and badly conceived. These were chosen for bad design.

2. Mystic Saber Max
This was not on the show and look pretty cheap. This was chosen for bad playability, design and just plain waste of plastic.

1. Triple Transforming Megazord
Ugliest thing I have ever seen, I don't like the other Megazords Bandai America made up, that didn't appear on the show. As I have expressed before, why make new zords that don't appear on the show and not make zords that actually appear on the show?
